SPP Program Workshop Guangzhou,

The Chinese, Bangladeshi and German research partners will convene to share findings and insights of their respective projects and the broader research context of the program. A special focus will lie on the overarching topic of global change processes, their various dimensions and interactions with (mega)urban processes on different scales.

The workshop will take place from Thursday, 13.11.2008, 10 am until Friday, 14.11.2008, 6 pm in Room 128, School of Geography and Planning, Sun Yat-Sen University.

On the evening of 13.11., from 6.30pm the participants are cordially invited for a joint dinner.

In the afternoon of Friday 14.11. the participants are invited for a field trip to places in Guangzhou relevant to the recent urban development dynamics.
